We had a great time with Kim and Ryan tonight. Kim graduated from Ohio State with a degree in Graphics Art (she will probably correct me on that). Long story short, We first met Kim when we had a competition at the high school to see who could develop a logo for us. Kim had a FANTASTIC design that we used for several years. She graduated from Lebanon High School and went on to Ohio State. Kim spent last summer in Orlando working as an intern with Disney and now that she has a degree is going back to work full time. In case you don't know, Disney is one of those jobs that is the most coveted by professional artists. Some people try for decades to get a job with them. One of ours, a Lebanon grad, got a job right out of college. Another example of the fine young people that come out of our town. Congratulations Kim, great job. I wanted to put a bunch of great images of Kim and her brother, Ryan, who just graduated from LHS, on FB, but my PC is being a PC (I will be going MAC soon). Until I get more photos done, here are a few. Great Job Kim! Oh, notice those little tassels around her neck? Does 3.9+ mean anything?

She showed up as planned, and had her 18 month in tow. She also had a 9 year old neighbor who did a GREAT job helping out as we got the shots of Clara. Then we decided to get pics of the bundle of joy. I guess at 18 months the bundle of joy has learned how to run around and keep you busy cleaning up as they leave a trail of mahem in their wake. Trust me, I am not complaining. In fact, I would be disappointed if she didn't. That's just what 18 month olds do. But it is work. Hard work. No wonder my dad went to work and left my mom with the kids (you should have seen me as a kid). But what I got to see today I have seen before, a hundred times if not more. A mother who is a joy to be around and the joy of her life, her daughter, the one she lives for, the hope of our generation, running around without a care in the world. Is there anything more precious? Really, is there anything at all more precious?
